Check that gang of flat wires snaking inside, and coming out under the steering tube assembly. Maybe you kicked it getting in the car and just moved the contacts enough to pull apart the winker wires? Do you have a horn? This will tell you the harness is connected without going through the motions under the steering tube. I would still check the connection though.
I'm taking a guess here, but I would look up and around the firewall interior area (steering tube area) and see if you can find that winker relay? It usually looks like the bottom side of a shot glass. This dimension, is incased in thin aluminum. You can see the stamped readings of the voltage, and manufacturer. You don't need tools for this, it pulls straight out. If it's not near the fuse box area, it might be inside the engine bay, somewhere on the firewall? I'm still guessing at locations as you can see?
Once you find the turn signal flasher, take a good known flasher and reinstall. If you still have no turn signals that work, you will have to remove the flasher again. Now you need a static light and prong the wires where the flasher goes. Key on, and set the turn signal lever on either right or left. Prong all 3 female turn signal connectors and see if the static light comes on? I suggest we do it this way to make it easy. The results will be the same. Did the static light come on? If it did, you have current up to your flasher. You have to start looking elsewhere. Try replacing the flasher first.... if and when you find it. Good luck
