When the sun hits the windows I'm getting all kinds of streaking marks (towel marks).
Since you didn't mention it, you probably don't, but if you are talking about the inside glass... Do you smoke in your car?

The smoke from cigarettes will over time put a coating on the inside of your windows that is about as hard to remove from your windows as it is your lungs. If I recall correctly, it's the microscopic particles of tar that reside in the smoke and stick to your glass. It's damn near impossible to remove and even when you do make a dent in it, it's prone to leave streaks.

(On a side note, whenever you get into old cars with the interior roof liner peeling/falling down, you can be 90% sure that it was a smoker's car at one time. Not every smokers car will do it, especially in vettes since we don't have it, but in old caddies, lincolns, and whatnot, in most cases it's from smoking in the car. The chemicals in the smoke break down the chemical bonding properties of the glue and overtime that's why the fabric starts to sag or fall from the roof.)

Sure, find something else to blame us for Andre! :L
Hey, I'm sure some people out there like that custom drapery look in their car. That or the neat little thumbtack patterns they can make in their ceiling! :L

I kept a stapler in my old car, "Barf", for just this reason. I can't say for sure if the previous owner was a smoker or not.

Thanks, I needed a laugh. For some reason this one struck me as funny...you driving down the road with one hand on the wheel and the a staple gun in the other... ;LOL

I've used Rain-X before, and probably will again now that I have no wipers, or even a wiper motor for that matter. :L

My only problem with Rain-X in the past, when I had wipers and was forced to finally use them, was that the wiper blades would chatter after a few wipes across the glass. They would never stop chattering after that, unless the windshield was deluged with water. I think the Rain-X ruins the rubber in the wiper blades. ;shrug
It wipers chatter since the Rain-x was probably applied un-evenly. The balde sticks to teh galss where te Rain-x is worn off, then slides where the Rain-x is still present.

any glass cleaner,.......but wipe dry with newspaper..........jimmy :cool
