General Motors has partnered with the Kids Wish Network to raffle off a one-of-a-kind "Hero Edition" 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 to benefit the non-profit's charitable works.
Each month the, the organization picks a "Hero of the Month" child who has overcome traumatic and life-changing circumstances with courage and spirit. As a special treat, they're introduced to a celebrity of their choice. Their efforts are largely funded by donations.
The 'Vette up for grabs isblack with red accents and graphics, and features some additional carbon fiber trim pieces to make it unique. Its 638-hp supercharged 6.2L V-8 remains in stock form.
