Well, I just got bored of the plain black interior:
You guys know what the plain black interior looks like.
I had a couple of things in mind and this is the first phase:
Did some neoprene seat covers and a center console lid cover from Corvette Mods. Seat covers were really easy to do. I got the covers with the Z06 logo on them. They just slip right over, you run the straps around the back and velcro the straps together so the covers stay put.
Second thing I did this morning was the center console lid cover. This offers much more cushioning over the stock piece. It's also a much higher quality material, I also got this with the Z06 emblem. Installation on this was a real PITA. It comes with double sided tape to secure the cover to the interior piece but I opted not to go with the double sided tape. The PITA part was removing all the staples and glue that held the factory unit on. Other than that, the process was quite easy.
I choose not to get the 405 HP emblem because I do not have 405. I got a little more than that but there might be more in the future, not sure yet if I'm going to go into the motor or not.
I also have some other torch red/black interior pieces that I'll be putting in over the next few days. Also have red Lloyds mats that will be going in. Shifter boot and parking brake boot will probably be the next mods. I have an MGW shifter on there if anyone is wondering. The gray cord is the Zoom adapter from Double D Mods so I can play my iPod and forget about changing CD's every hour!
