Mic, Rich, Rich,

I might go to Cecil Friday if my car still runs( see c4 tech section). But it's all about the weather, and Cecil is just as close to me (round trip ) as Capital.

Mic,
The tire pressure seems to get me .05 or .1 s on my 60 foot time. I do run home that way, so it's not like I would never drive on the street like that. Who knows what Car & Driver or Road and Track does to get their numbers. But they don't use drag radials, so that's why I've not gone the drag radial route yet.

Dave,
I have to agree with you about the LT1 heads--mine arefactory LT1 heads ported, and I'm getting the 110.48 mph with stock headers, cats, and exhaust. The heads must be doing something right.

Andy,

if you go with a good exhaust (cat back) you'll probably pick up 2-3 mph. if you go with a set of DR's go with BFB DR's they are a good tire and built on the Comp/TA tire so you'll still get the ride of a nice performance radial. you just got to super heat them to make them stick effectively.

sounds good i might be able to make it friday night. i'm going to pick Rich's 16" rims/tires up to borrow till i can get my 17's replaced but i won't be able to get up there till around 7pm. i get off of work at 5:30 in annapolis.

i'll follow this thread to see if you guys go!

unlikely now

I'm still uncertain if my car's going to be in the shop or what. I have too many ideas about what could be wrong, no personal time available to diagnose before Friday.

I would think with all the intake mods to let the car take in more air that you would also want to let all that air escape. Any reason you haven't done any exhaust work yet?

Leon

Exhaust--
I was afraid of the resonance it might create, that I wouldn't like driving the car anymore. Plus the cost, considering only 10 hp possible gain.

Now, maybe I'll change my mind--RRubel's car's resonance didn't bother me, and straight pipe would be cheap.
