Guess what I found while pulling old carpet ??

Well, I did some research on the dealership that received my Vette back in October of 1978. It turns out that the dealership is still there and in operation but under different management. I sent an email and this is the response I got back:

JEFF, THANKS FOR YOUR INQUIRY ON THE 79 CORVETTE. UNFORTUNATELY WE DO NOT KEEP VEHICLE INVOICES PAST 15 YRS. BUT, I DO HAVE A PICTURE OF THE DEALERSHIP THAT WAS TAKEN FROM THE AIR AND LOOKING AT THE VEHICLES, IT WAS TAKEN IN 70 , 71, 0R 72. I ALSO HAVE SOME MOSES MOTOR CO. MEMORIBILIA AT HOME , AND I WILL SEND YOU SOMETHING WITH MOSES MOTOR CO. ON IT. PLEASE SEND ME YOUR MAILING ADDRESS, AND I WILL TAKE CARE OF IT . THANKS, BILL BURKE, DEALER, CARDINAL CHEVY, INC.

Can't wait to see what I get in the mail...

Can't wait to see what I get in the mail...

I received the goodies in the mail yesterday. A real photograph of the dealership dated 1970 and a few other small items with Moses Motor Co. on it. Very cool to have to link it with my Vette. Wish I knew the first original owners. DMV here is no help. I would love to know the owner history to date.
