I live in S.E. Louisianne...... 2 C4's..just outside of New Orleans.Anyone else in the way of Gustav?

Hey guys! Y'all batten down the hatches and cover up the Vettes as best you can. I hear we're possibly going to get 75 MPH winds from it... possibly 100 MPH gusts. That is - if the thing doesn't turn right at us. :ohnoes

I have family in Cutoff LA. They're on their way out now, heading to Mobile. They took everything they could because they fear there won't be anything left when they return.

I'm about 12-15 miles inland. Had a lot of wind and rain here but not bad. The Coast here got more storm surge than was expected and some folks who were just getting on their feet again since Katrina were wiped out again.

Family members returned to Cutoff and were amazed to see hearth and home safe and sound....

But they've already been told they'll be without power for 4 to 5 weeks. Our power was out for 3 weeks after Katrina so I feel for them.

How'd you make out in Mandeville, Cajun?

We made out just fine thank God.

Were about 50 Mi. inland just North of Lake Pontchatrain from New Orleans. Both C4's are OK.Lost electricity for 2 days a few branches in the yard but other than that were good.
