I am trying to adjust the headlight panel that shows when the lights are off. The rubber bumper that should contact the hood when closed will not touch and leaves the headlight assembly rattling. It is about 1/8 inch from touching. The headlights rotate alright and close just fine--just not tight when down. The bushings in the actuating arms look fine. Where do I adjust to take out this 1/8 inch gap and make the headlight unit solid against the hood headlight brace. I did a search but all I found was info reagrding C 3 assemblies. This is a 94 C-4 Coupe. Thanks.

You can adjust the door to hood fit by loosening door attaching bolts/screws & aligining the door. Additional adjustment can be made via the rubber bumper stop.

I can e-mail you a picture of the assembly if you like?

Thanks for the reply. I have already done this but have run out of adjustment slots on door and the rubber stop is too short. I suspect the bushings or gears in the motor are about ready to go south. Lots of play in the assembly and where the shaft comes out of the motor. I have got it finally adjusted close enough it doesn't look bad but thought maybe there was some other adjustment I was not seeing. There is a slotted screw with a locking nut on the bottom of the motor and thought this might be a way to take up slack in the gear train (pre-load adjuster) but am not sure. I messed with it a little but it did not seem to make any difference except the speed to which the door opens and closes slowed down. I re-adjusted this back to where it was before I screwed something up. Thanks again, maybe someone else has played with these and can tell me what I am failing to see to adjust.
