How do you get the head lights to stay up when its cold, etc.?
I read the manual but somebody 'splain it better than don't let them hit the hood please. Why didn't they just leave the little plunger thingy they had years ago? One other question. I wonder who the genius was that decided NOT to include the passenger side outside mirror in automatic dimming? It don't dso it on my '04 and the manual just mentions the others. I guess Chevrolet saved $5.00 on that decision.

Thanks,
wwr

Hi wwr -

Just crank them up with the manual knob on the inside of each headlight assembly.

best regards -

If you turn the headlights on, then turn them to the parking light position, they will stay up, but the headlamps turn off. It is a good way to wash them during a car wash, also. This may not work when you turn the car off. I suspect the parking lights stay on, but I am not sure.

How 'bout the hood getting in the way?

I have opened my headlights many times with the hood open and it has never gotten in the way.
