I am looking all over this site but not finding an answer. Please help me............. My headlights open fine. I just don't have any light coming out of them. Also do not have turn signals blinking......What I do have???
I have a LH bright light, have flashers, have fog/driving lights, have turning lights.......... I don't get it??? Fuses are fine. Ground by headlights is fine, just cleaned them and tightened back to framerail. I have a 91 coupe L98

u mean the actual switch in the dash?? why does one bright work then? I don't know but just seems weird

Is th LH headlight as bright as normal and do you have a high beam indicator on the dash?

This high and low beams in the headlight are two separate filiments. So it is possaible that the high beam will still work while the low beam is inop.

Yes, ok the headlights might be burned out. Just put them in around September but I am replacing them anyway...........so is the turn signal issue somehow a part of that or do you think the 2 issues just happened to be at the same time?

I think you have two issues going on. When you try to use a turn signal, does the turn signal stay lit solid or do they not come on at all? If it stays on solid, you could have a bad electronic flasher. The flasher is what you hear click when the turn signal is on. If you get nothing, you may have a bad multi-function lever.

I get nothing when turning on turn signal.........What is a multi-function lever? You mean the lever that everything runs on thats on the steering column? So everything works on it but the turn signal part? Wow I never heard of such a thing, then again I never owned a vette before lol.

yeah, the multi-function lever= the lever with the cruise control buttons, wiper, and turn signal on it.

The up/down switch just inside the steering column the lever connects to may have gone out.

finally fixed lol

Wow its tough finding time to tear into a vette lol...... Well I finally looked into headlamps and the driver side was not even plugged in any longer and right side was just burned out..... Geez, lol. Thank you everyone for your help

that's happened to me too

Just read this thread, sorry I didn't see it a month ago. I've had this happen to me, over a period of several nights the low beam went out and then the high beam went out on one side. When I went to remove the bulb I found that the connector on the back of the bulb had fallen off the bulb. Pushed it back on and problem solved.

:confused

6 weeks?

Electricity is just like water. ('til they hit the tongue tho')

No water? Hmm... Hose plugged? Hose cut? Hole in hose? Hose connected? Water on?

;shrug
