Removed my '90 headliner for new cloth. My headliner itself wasn't hardboard but a type of pressed fiberglass that was glued on. While removing it, it delaminated in several places, and some of the outer "skin" is still stuck to the roof panel. Can I glue the thing back together, or should I replace the entire thing? Ecklers doesn't have one. Do I have to go to the dealer, or can I make a new one?
Thanks;
Jerry

I just recently put a headliner in my '96 (car didn't have one when I bought it).

I found a nice one that was supposedly a "snap-in" type, but I wound up having to glue it in to keep it from falling down in the middle. It was in the Ecklers print catalog, but not on their web site. I'll get the part number for you tonight.

I have some info on headliners. Don't know if it pertains to your particular problem. If you would like to see it my e-mail is roman67844@cs.com.

Try page 216 of the 2003 spring/summer Eckler's catalog. I think it is part number 28964. I just did mine also but only found the replacement part after I followed the directions rabbit sent me which use material found at a local sewing store. But hey it looks great and saved me 149.99 (BTW, Thanks loads Rabbit!)
