Help! Heat Riser Valve Positioning on 68 Big Block

:confused I'm looking for a photo or instructions that would provide insight into how the heat riser valve looks when installed in the proper position. I have a 68 with the 427/390 engine.

Specifically, when looking down towards the heat riser valve from the passenger side of the car -- what position should the large portion of the counter weight be facing -- towards the firewall or towards the block side??

If someone could take a picture and post it that would be great!

GM installed them with counter weight toward fire wall.
