heater core...

I haven't done it. Been told it's a major pain about 15 hrs looks like all weekend! to me
 
They're almost always a PITA, but in a Vette it's worse. :(

Corvette Fever magazine did a step by step proceedure for heater core replacement a year or so ago. If I recall it was quite a long process. Might want to check it out before jumping into it.
 
That sounds like a good Winter project, I'll bet you have winter in Canada too. If it is leaking now you can always bypass the heater core by connecting the two hoses together. Of course your heater will not work after.

Took me 5 hours in my 89.. start to finish.

it is not as hard as it looks.. as long as you can pull and install some bolts blind you will be fine
 
i found out that it wasnt the heater core. it was the vacum line to the thermac valve [ that thing in the right corner under the dash]. so now i just have to figure out why there is no vaccum.

hey jeepie..Canada is the HOME of winter..we invented it.:D
