Just an update. Talked to the LT4 owner and he said he forgot to add the "manual" to the "trans" description. It is an LT4 and it's a really nice low mileage car. Black with a red interior. Low mileage as in under 40,000. I was not sure about living with a red interior so I passed on it. Although, at the $14,000 asking price it would be a great buy. Especially if the price could come down a little.
I found another in the city that had around 100,000 miles for $10,500. Black on black with several mods like headers, exhaust etc, all stuff I would do. It's at a resell dealer however and I would have to add about 9% for taxes. The other was owner sold and would not require a tax. However, the second modified car sold in one day and I inquired on day two--truly a dollar short and a day late, LOL!
I was able to look at a 1995 black with red interior 'vette at a local car show and the red interior has just enough black to offset the red. It was actually kind of nice, sooo. Time to go back to that first 'Vette and see what I can do.
Side note. I'm just short of my 64th birthday and my wife says I'll get into the car and never get out. Something about an inflated waist line??? Not all ALL sure what she means--but, if I get it or any 'Vette, it will be time to hit the gym. So the "Vette" will be good for my health.
Still trying to convince her of that one--LOL!
