HELP!!! Alarm going off and won't reset

The alarm started going off and nothing I do stops it except disconnecting the battery. Has anyone had this problem??? I wanted to drive it tonight since I just got it but don't need the problem while I'm out.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is a slot in the glove box, next to the center console. Put the key fob in there, with the buttons facing towards the passenger door. That should turn your alarm off. Also, if for some reason, the car will not start, and the DIC says no fob detected, put your fob in the slot, and it should start right up.
