I have owned this 93 for 1 month. It has run great up until now. I took it to the local carwash and sprayed out the engine bay with a high preassure hose. Probly not too smart... It did not want to start afterwards, I let the engine dry off real good and it started right up. I drove it about 5 miles with no problems and parked it for the night. The next day I started it up and it runs rough as though it is not hitting on all cyls. When I give it a little gas it is sluggish and pops (Backfire). I probably fried something. Any thoughts/suggestions?

Looks like you commited the #1 sin and drenched the Optispark. I have heard of people drying them out with fans and heat lamps, but 98% have to have them replaced. about 300 for it plus labor. ANd you may as well replace the waterpump while you are at it.

So sorry you had to learn the hard way...

I cringe every time I see someone learn from experience, but I'll bet you never do it again! ;)
