How do you get the light bulb (the one that glows red when the headlights are on), located above the door handle on the inner door panel, out of the socket?? It's burned out and needs replacing.

This is not the courtesy light that comes on when you open the door.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Must be a slow weekend, or the Columbia tragedy has people's minds elsewhere, but hang in there, a late-model C4 owner will be along to answer your question. ;)

The lense above the door handle is pryed out from thr top with a small flat blade screwwdriver to clear retaining tabs. There are also tabs on the bottom, but the lense shud lift right out after the top is loose.Replace is the reverse.

Replacement bulb isTrade No 212-2, 6 candlepower. Flood bulb is trade no. 3.
