I have been having a similar problem with my '01. Most of the posts here will direct you to the emergency flasher switch. On my car, I can usually click the flashers on and off a few times and the turn signals will start working again. I plan to replace the switch eventually which I hope will cure the problem. Hi, I just replaced my hazard warning switch and it fixed my intermittent turn signal problem. Service Manual helped tremendously!! Not an easy task though, as you will need to remove your upper trim pad and trim plate in order to access the switch - if GM engineered your 98MY like my 2K. Time consuming, but doable. I'm unaware of any post here that can walk you through that procedure. Good luck and welcome!
