The sending unit that I purchased on Ebay purchase is in the Ebay dipute or resolution center. The seller wants me to pay return shipping and a restocking fee to return it for a refund. To return it would cost me all most as much as what I paid for the unit.

I just received a replacement dash pad from Al Knoch and it looks to be in very good condition. I hope to install it this weekend. I can't say enough good things about Al Knoch service.

Now to get the restored aluminum intake back and we will be in the home strecth.

Sounds like you have it all under control. I read your other post about the sender unit, sorry for being so redundant. Glad Al Knoch did the right thing for you. I am thinking 57 resto mod for the next project but I change my mind every time I see another project on this forum. A SWC would be at the top of my list for sure. I'm in the process of buying a building for my business so another Vette project might have to wait for a little while. Please keep us posted. I can't wait to see her all done.
