Holley 750 dp question

It seems that I can put 2 gas filters in where the gas line feeds into the carb, am I correct with this or do I need to put one in the main line?

The old hotrod thinking was that in-line filters were preferred because they were less restrictive. If there have been improvements in the insert material, that may have changed.

Will go with the old and proven method, inline. Talked to a few guys at a large performance shop and they also said to stick with the inline.
