Hooker headers for there sidepipes,will they work on the D-port exhaust heads?

Im going to use the new fast burn heads and would like to keep the sidepipes, will the Hooker headers that go into the sidepipes work with this engine?
I have/will install a ZZ383 and dont know I should go with Hedmen D-port headers and run true duals?, or will the Hooker Headers work?, what gain or loss in HP?
has anyone run this setup?,
I called Hooker tech. any they said the headers would not work. and there was no info on future production runs for the new D-Port setup.
any recommendations????

I don't know if this will help you or not but since no one else has responded I'll throw this out FWIW...

I'm pretty sure I saw some header adapter plates in the Summit Racing catalog. From the mag pic it looked like they were designed to adapt certain types of exh manifolds to an engine that otherwise wouldn't work. Might want to call Summit and check it out.
