I have to pound on the horn button to get horn to work. Can the button be fixed or do I have to replace it?

Pull the horn cover off and see if you can improve the situation by direct pressure on the horn button contact. You should then be able to determine if the issue is the horn button or a poor wire connection. You can pick up replacement horn buttons for around $20.
