I can't find the @#!x* horn relay. I got every description from every manual, forum, and the drawing in my assembly manual. I've had my head under the dash till I about passed out. The horns worked great a few days ago--no power is getting to the horns themselves now. Only thing left to check is the relay; I've had C3's for nine years and I thought I knew all there was to know...fool.

I digital image of it in situ would be nice!

It's not under the dash - it's in the engine compartment; Section 12 in the assembly manual will show you where it's located (it's usually either on the firewall or on the inner fender on the driver's side).

Nope--not there. I finally went to a repair shop that handles C2's and C3's. I went to the back office where a bunch of retired guys were sitting around an honest to god free standing wood stove. I asked them; the advice was, "Close your eyes, put your hand touching and under the steering column, then slowly move your hand around to the upper side of the column." I did this and the first thing I grabbed was the horn relay. I changed it and the horns work fine now.
