Horn relay

Hi everyone. I was working on my horn, The contactor in the steering wheel was missing. So I ordered a new kit, I put it all together and still know horn. My question is were is the horn relay???? ( I have a 79 vet.)

I have a '71 so the location may be way off. Mine is located on the driver side inner fender. I hope someone with your year can confirm or correct me. Good luck!

horn relay

Mine is close to firewall, inside car on drivers side. This is on a 74. Look at where the windshield wiper is and it is directly under that on the inside. My windshield wiper leaks through firewall, so I have replaced the horn relay twice. Gonna change over to electronic ignition and electronic tach so the whole dash is coming out soon. While im under there, anything that looks like it could leak is getting fixed.

Thanks I will try that , right now I am in the middle of tearing out my kitchen. (Honey Dew List Befor Vette weather.) I will try and find the relay I,m sure that is the problem, The horn works when jumped. Thanks everyone.
