Horse Power for 1982

Not too shabby for a relatively stock setup! :thumb

I don't know if I should be more-surprised at the over-all performance (quicker ET/higher MPH), or at the car's consistency:
at Bradenton, even battling a high rear float, that sloshed fuel into the carb after the burnout, the 60' times following the initial, half-hearted pass, were 2.003, 2.009, and 1.999, and it's 1/8-mile incrementals were 8.994, 9.000, and 9.004.

I built and installed a slosh-tube before going to Orlando, but the problem persisted for the first 2 runs, and it affected my concentration, my burnout proceedure, & the car's performance (2.047/9.073/14.09 & 2.015/9.032/14.07):
I hate to turn wrenches at the track, but I lowered the float 1/8-turn before the 3rd time-shot, then did a tire-killing burnout before the best-yet short-time of 1.973, 1/8-mile of 8.938 & 13.935.

Float-level/burnout problem seems to be rectified, and we are goin' for the throat at Sunshine this weekend!
