Is there a waiting period before you should wax a new car? ;shrug What do the experts advise? I took many of yours advice and bought the Zaino kit online. Should be getting it soon. Thanks :grouphug:

Bill,

If you are talking about a new car with clear coat... you can wax now. Today's car finishes are baked on... and are already cured when they leave the factory. If you have a fresh re-paint, or your car has been damaged and re-painted you should wait 90 days before applying any wax/protectant.

What is a Zaino kit?

Sorry, I am new

Number 1 # commandment of owning a vette; I shall use Zaino and no other wax :D

It’s the best wax out on the market

Which zaino product do you suggest? Do you go from clay thru the whole list, or do you use the product selectively?
Thanks.

Thanks! I bookmarked the page in my browser. Which products will I need for my New C6? What do you all recommend? Any particular waxing interval for my vette? Once every 4 months?

Any info you could give me would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I bought the Kit #1. Though I havent used it yet. I dont think I'll use the clay bar yet on the C6, I will use it on the C3 when the temp gets up a little. According to the instructions I will wash with Z7 (show car wash), Polish with Z2, then Z5, spray with Z6 then one more time with Z2 (They say you should always end up with Z2. We'll see how that works. The instructions say the more coats, the deeper the gloss. Anyone who's used this will put in their 2 cents. Stay tuned
