How many computers ?

Does anyone know how many 'puters there are in a '06 coupe. I heard it might be at least 10.

Heard this from the same auto tech school teacher -
They now run one wire to each door and it handles
all the mechanicals at that location.

Actually, you may have more or less, depending on options.
Lets just automatically assume you have Navigation, HUD, XM radio, F55 Magnetic ride control and an automatice transmission.
Then, your modules are setup on 2 different communications networks.
Class 2, which is the network your teacher is speaking of, has 14 modules.
HOWEVER, the 2 wire CAN network has an additional 5 modules.

I have deemed it so. Anyone who works hard all day fixing them deserves one. Next letter I'll tell you some anecdotes about my 2 years in the parts dept. of a small Chevy d'ship here on Long Island in '74 & 75.
