thanks AKRAY, I have, and will keep standard BF goodrich 265/60/15 RWL I am going to do the tranny mods a bit down the road 6 or 8 mos as I have already bitten off more than I planned.
Crebo, I glassed in a L-88 (mini) hood scoop it is about 14w 37 L and gives me 2.50" above actual exterrior hood surface. I thought it looked better, and less obtrusive than the full size L-88 scoop for my application. The car is being painted now, and I'll send a pic of the finished deal. I don't know if this is of interest to anyone, but I installed a auto-gauge brand vac gauge from 0 to 35 psi. under the hood. It ran about 15 bucks, is illuminated (red as the motor accessories) fabricated a small bracket and mounted it to the carb stud, then angled it at about 30 degrees for viewing. I am running about 17 psi at idle. it's just a handy way of monitoring vac for the vette accessories, tie it into a vac line, and that's it. for less than 20 bucks it works well keeps the guessing game away, and looks pretty cool under the hood.
