What is the best method to clean the dash cluster connectors on 92 Corvette. I have some intermittent LCD display problems. When the LCD display acts up I can tap the top of the dash and it starts working correctly again. Sometimes I can simply push on the dash cluster on the bottom left side and it works again. This tells me there is a bad connection at the 34 pin connector to the dash that needs cleaning and better connection. I have not removed the dash cluster yet but plan to replace the LCD in the next couple of weeks as it is loosing contrast and getting hard to read. Also what bulbs should I install for the back light to perhaps brighten iy up some? Thanks for any replies.
