I am in the process of refinishing my aluminum wheels. I am stripping the factory clear coat from the shiny aluminum wheels, no paint, but just clear over aluminum.
The first two went along reasonably well, but the last two have some serious, yellow discolored areas where the clear has been off for a while.
Does anyone know of some product like Tarn X that will chemically remove the discolor? The discolor reaches down in the tiny grooves that are left from the lathe turning so it is difficult to get them out with abrasives or polish.
