Remember what I said earlier...there are many, many Corvettes out there for sale!!!! You're being too anxious and jumping at any and every one that crops up. Patience, my dear...the right one will come along. Don't rush into this because you may regret it! I know that may be tough to do, but it's the best way. :)

Elaine

Elaine,

Thank you, I am a man of very little patience. My wife would attest to that. I know the right car is out there, but like I said before, no damn patience. I suppose it is something I will eventually learn.

I am waiting to hear word on the black car now, it might be the correct car, but won't know until I am in KY to see for myself. It is int he same lot as teh silver car, and the dealer knows how upset I am about the first so he seems to be working very hard to make me happy.

Thank you again, I hope to have good news sooner rather than later!

Peter,

Believe me, I do understand how anxious some people can be when on the hunt! I sell Corvettes (and have bought quite a few myself), so I am familiar with the anxiety you're experiencing!! :D

The dealer may be doing everything he can to make you happy - or he is doing whatever he can to still complete a sale. Don't jump. It is almost always harder to sell a car than buy one. :w Patience.:ohnoes

You're a little too late...we sold two 2002 ZO6's just recently...a red one and a black one!! ;LOL

Elaine

Not sure what your budget allows or if your set on the Z06 but I recently traded in my
'04 LeMans Blue Commerative Edition w/30k miles. The dealer is Bradshaw Chevrolet in Greer, South Carolina. The car is flawless being garaged keep with a selling price of 32k. It's pretty much loaded w/HUD - 12 disc cd changer - 3.15 performance axle - polished wheels - etc. Engine bay spotless, with oil changed every 3k religiously! I also had an option exhaust "Grantelli" installed. The only drawback for you is - it's an Automatic. Otherwise you will not be disappointed. If you have any questions feel free to email me.

Peter,

I forgot to ask...are you only focusing on ZO6's??

Elaine

Elaine,

Yes, only Z06.

GOOD NEWS! I fly to KY Tuesday morning. Picking up a black 04 with 9K on the odo. I am paying 35K for it.

My insurance goes down $43 a month!!!! Insane. Go up 100HP and go down in insurance.

The airline tix are purchased, the car is ready and so am I! I may take the Wednesday flght instead as it is raining tuesday.

Bought the black car in KY.

Supposed to fly out to get her tomm.

BUT.

My father in law disappeared last night. Went to get dinner with a friend at 5 and has not been seen since. Been up all night.

Say a prayer for the old man if you pray.

That's terrible! I hope your father in law will be found safe and sound!

Our prayers are with you and your family. Please let us know when you get - hopefully happy - news.

Thank you thank you.

Well, after some sleuthing I found that his friend used his credit card a few hundred miles away. One of them made a comment to the cashier "Nice day for a drive". They were visually confirmed to be the users of the card thank God. No direction given on them, no idea where they are headed.

Crazy bastards! I hope they have fun on this trip bc I am definitely going to have some serious words with them both for putting all of us through hell for the past 12 hours.

On a brighter note.

Now that I know they are relatively safe. I am leaving early tomm morning to fly out to KY to pick up the Black *****. that is her initial name until I find something more fitting.

It will be a nice LONG drive home down 64 from Louisville, thru the Appalachian mtns, then 64 straight shot home to good old Richmond.

I'll post pictures when I am able.

Great news all around.

Both the old guys are home safe. Long story.

The Vette is also home safe in the drive.

I am in love with it. Smitten.

Here are a couple crappy iphone pics.

It has a Borla exhaust on it. I am not sure which, but man, she is raspy as an old blues singer in Alabama!

Glad to hear that the old guys are safe, did you take them to the woodshed yet?:L Nice Vette you will now a permanent grin from driving her.

Yeah permagrin was installed yesterday when I got in her.

I plan to take both of them to the shed later today.

Thanks!
