Question: HUD Glare

I own a 2000 Corvette. I recently had the windshield replaced. It is a genuine product stamped for HUD. However, I have noticed that when the sun hits it just a certain way there is now a glare on the display. I had not noticed this prior to new windshield. Does anyone have feedback on this.

I think that when the sun hits it a certain way there's no way to prevent that glare. I've had some glare with mine always.

My 2004 still has the original windshield and I see this glare every so often. It happens so infrequently that it isn't really a problem.

What I mean is the new windshield is an original GM product and not some knock off. However, this situation had not occurred with my old windshield.

Maybe the old windshield was a little more "pitted" from use than the new, shiny and smooth windshield.

I had similar HUD glare issues on my C5 when I had a C5.
