Hmm, I never noticed this shift light, but I heard it is located above the speedo read out. Has anyone seen this?? Wow, never noticed it. Gonna have to look next time it isn't snowing lol!

To be honest, I've never noticed it either. Is this the CAGS 1st to 4th shift notice? I know there's a yellow light on the console cluster, but I've never seen a shift light on the HUD.

Hmm, we're getting a freezing fog at the moment, so the Z06 is staying in the garage tomorrow, but next opportunity, I'll let you know what I see.

Hey Pat,

Ya, I never noticed it, but heard about it tonight. I'm curious too.

It is there in the HUD. I have seen it light once or twice. It comes on at 5750 RPM for me. I would think it probably comes on at 6250 for Z06s.

It just says SHIFT. You can see it when you start your car and all of the indicators come on in the HUD.

Randy's right... you gotta tach it up!! Seems like it comes on just a little bit before you get into the redline zone.

Not that I've ever done that :D

Yes! Well I guess I have been watching the tach instead. I raised my rev. limiter with the Predator, hopefully the light activation was raised too lol!

I drag race quite often, so I see it quite regularly. I do NOT use it as a shift light; I watch the tach. I see it in my peripheral vision, anyway.

Hey DRTH VTR,

Was it you that worked with someone at Diablosport for some additional tuning? I read the post somewhere, but can't remember who it was.

No, it was not me. I have a Vararam, but no other mods. I read some posts by C4C5 that were critical of the power programmers, so I have stayed away from them. If I added a blower or changed rear end gearing, I would have to use one. A lot of people swear by Diablosport or LS1edit, etc, but I have no experience with them.
