My '99 has the automatic climate control. All functions work correctly. The florescent display works perfectly with no flickering.

The problem is that when I turn on my headlights, no control button lights come. At night I cannot see the control buttons to select and change settings.

Is this a fuse problem, a loose socket, or a problem in the control unit?

Thanks for any ideas.

It's more than likely a problem with the board that controls all of the lamps. I just replaced my entire unit for $199 for a brand new one still in the box from a guy on Ebay. Came with a one year warrantee as well.

After owning several Vettes over 40 years, I still love 'em.

BUT, really... a $600 light bulb repair on this fantastic C5 is just a little NUTS.

Thank you for the help.

Peter
