Glad to hear it:) It will be missed... The empty void in the garage just doesn't look right! Did I tell you that the car likes to sit on carpet? :D

Vettelt193 - What's next? ;shrug

I sold it to buy real estate, BUT on the Corvette front...

I really want a chrome bumpered car. I almost bought a '64 before buying my '93... that is one of the few things I really regret doing. Don't get me wrong, I loved my '93, and am already missing the '96 but I feel like if I don't buy an older vette soon I'll never be able to afford one! I could have had that '64 convertible for $16k in near perfect condition... try to find a midyear now and you might be able to find a rolling hunk of fiberglass for that $$... anything that runs seems to be $20k plus, and the very car I looked at would probably be in the $35k range.

1BAD69 has his '69 for sale, and am strongly considering buying (love the early sharks too) I really should save the money, and that is what I planned on doing, but if I can cover the bills and still buy a chrome bumpered vette I probably won't turn the opportunity down:)

I really love C4's and their drivability... I hopped in the car and over to Panama City Beach to meet up with HrtBeat without any doubt in the world (except that my wife in my old Dodge pickup wouldn't be able to keep up)... you can 'slip' just a little on the throttle and you are at 90 MPH and it feels even smoother than 45. I figure I'll buy a C4 convertible (automatic) for my wife one day... I don't think I can live too long without a C4, I've had one pretty consistently since I was 15 years old (yes, my first car was a C4 and I got it before I could even drive it. I would buy that car back if I could find it!)

So, end of a long rant... a new beginning is in store for all of us buying and selling:)

A friend back in Missouri sold his C3 bought a C4, sold the C4 bought a C5, sold the C5 to buy some Corvette real estate also . . .

Now he owns a sweet 65 that will only go up in price.

Let us know when you get yours!

Later . . . . . .

Congrats to both of you on your recent acquisitions. :beer

Hrtbeat1, with Bob's knowledge on the C4 & Vettes in general I bet you got one helluva well maintained car that has been gone through w/ a fine-tooth comb. Judging by your last car, I can only imagine what you have up your sleeve for this one.

Enjoy! :D

Will do... I am really hoping 1Bad69's vette works out now... It has only been 2 days with no vette and I already can't take it. I didn't plan for this! :ugh

Nice!! Mine's got the gray. Mansfield, Ma not far from the RAZOR. Hope you have that gem covered up,or in a garage :]

Congrats on the new Vette!

I see you have already found the power. I remember test driving the LT4s back in the fall of 1995. Beat the **** out of them. Convinced me to order mine in early spring of 1996. No looking back.

Save The Wave! :w

Nice choice

Congrats on your sweet ride, now go drive the hell out again :)
I love beating 2003 Cobra's in mine :)

Be safe and have fun, Jim "Vette96ce"
