Damn thing hurt too.....lol
Whats up with the hood support rod
When I first got the car last week, it always seemed to work fine (locking open when the hood was raised far enough)
Yesterday i had my skinny california butt stretched across the intake area(detailing some dull chrome pieces) and the hood slammed down and bit me in the A$$.
I was flat across the engine bay legs sticking out, flopping in the breeze, and wiggling like a bug on Raid, trying to get my feet back on the ground so i could get the hood out of the crack of my A$$
I'm glad the engine was cold or I would have an intercooler waffle print across my forehead.....explain that to your neighbors....lol
My wife heard the commotion and performed an anal-ectomy and lifted the hood back up so I could slither away........
Is there a spring somewhere that puts the support rod into a lock out position, or do these damn cars have a mind of their own and wait for you to let your guard down?
Later,
Ray
