and i did one heck of a good job! my stock 88' rims were in rough shape [clear coat peeling, turning yellow..brake dust burned into every crevice].
i went to wal-mart and spent $12 on a can of spray on paint remover and some 0000 grade steel wool. after getting the old clear coat off [it was easy] i just rubbed...and rubbed...and rubbed the wheel down in a circle motion untill it looked as good as new.
i guess why im so happy is because a place near to me wanted 150 bucks per wheel to do the same darn thing. if i get a picture of my "new" wheels scanned i will put it up.
