There are two or three other ones available also, all around the same price. Agent86 made his own, VERY nice piece :w Len, you oughta contact him for details. Here's a pic of mine.

You can also just gut your old one, unless it's the bearings that have gone bad. If I look hard enough, I might be able to find the spare one I bought for that purpose, but never used.

This guy (http://members.shaw.ca/korvette4u/index.htm) also makes AIR eliminator kits and they're well-regarded on "that other Corvette site."

I got mine from Breathless Performance. http://www.breathlessperformance.com/products/101.asp I noticed the price has increased by about $20 since I bought mine (can't remember when that was.) :confused Doesn't Conyers have a visual inspection?

No need for a shorter belt. The altenator rotates out toward the wheel. I had to splice in a pice of 10 guage 'cos I didn't like the way the wires were hanging. With the way these altenators don't like heat I figure moving it away helps.

Jimmers started a post in this forum titled Air Pump. http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=72920 I posted a couple of pics there of my arrangement.

The people who do our inspections are the ones who couldn't land a job at McDonalds. Just finding my emergency brake release is like a MENSA test for them.
I would rather keep the pump but it's the bearings that are going bad. The pulley wobbles but theres no noise.

I just looked at the part from MidAmerica ... it looks identical to the part I got ... and $40 cheaper.
