Welcome to the Corvette Forums at the Corvette Action Center!

I spent some quality time...

I use 303 Aerospace Protectant on the dash, door panels, anything vinyl. I haven't used it in the engine compartment, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

If under the hood is really grungy, you could clean it with a diluted Simple Green solution, dry and then hit with Adams In & Out Spray. I absolutely love that product! Adams has recently discontinued it until a more environmental-friendly (or something like that) substitute can be formulated. Thank goodness, I bought up about 15 cans so I'm set for awhile!

Thanks Jay! It's not a Lingenfelter but I'm happy. :D Hope they got yours squared away and she's running great now. ;)

Elaine, I've heard someone else mention the 303 AP used for hoses and other parts under the hood. It may have been B17Crew. The last time I had the engine bay detailed, they used Armor All and it attracted so much dust and dirt that I swore never again. :ohnoes

I've read praise from you and others about the product so I figure I'll give it a try.

Way to go, Dennis! You're getting the hang of it! Nice photo!

Is this the stuff y'all use? And does it look like a good price?
Ebay auction

:w

That's about right. Of course, the shipping is always something that should be factored into the final price. Autogeek.net charges $12.99 for that product...not sure what the shipping is.

Let me know how you like it. It gives the surface a "sheen", not that greasy, slick look that I hate!

Thanks Chris! She looks good and the finish on her is as smooth as glass! Man, I love that claybar! :L

:w Not bad for 10 year old paint, huh?

Steve, you'll love the Crystal Red. Such a beautiful color, you'll keep yourself awake at nights thinking of ways to keep that shine going!!!
