I didnt even thing about the whole fiberglass thing. Boooooooo

Oh well, I saw some side pipes in the JCwhitney catalog that cost like $220 that seem like a great deal. My final product is going to have side pipes on it but if I dont have to pay 1200 for them then they just may come next pay check w/ the header install.

It seemed liked a sweet thing to do in the meanwhile. I dare someone else to do it though. lol

You shoud do it just to be politically incorrect. Corvette people are fun and daring like that. Your glass probably won't catch. Maybe the plastic body kit on the Celica next to you WILL!!! Don't let Remo rain on your self expression.

FLAME ON CORVETTE BROTHER:L

I think that 69MyWay knows a lot about this. Back in the late 50´s folks wired a spark plug about 2¨ from the exhaust tip and connected it to a separate coil with a dash switch. There was plenty of raw gas in the pipes to throw a 3´ flame.

But that means you'd have to be running really rich, which is really bad. :(

Oh man this is like a teen soap. Im so torn what should I do?! lol

Actually setting some side pipes on fire would really kick some serious ass! Those would be pointing away from the sweet lines of a C3 and towards the tires.

From the websites have said is that theres plenty of remaining unburnt combustable fumes in the exhaust left over inthe exhaust to ignite w/o being in a rich state. W/o the cats of course. So no need to have to add a full turn to the mixture screws.

At one point during the long winter I gave some thought to adding flame throwers to my Hooker sidepipes.;shrug

It sure would keep the crowd back on the curb during cruise nights.:L

That's another thing. You probably have to be real careful when and where you use the flames. You can't be a jack@$$ with it.
