saw this on another site, thought it would interesting to share it.

please, let's not turn this into a Corvette/Mustang issue, the topic of the thread in the link should be enough to keep us all drooling without sidetracking about where the link originated......... :)

enjoy

I wonder if the guy that lost those cars and property can sleep at night?? I know I couldn't. Aside from that, all I can say is wow......

If I ever had that garage and those cars and than lost them, I think I wouldn't have to worry about sleeping at night - I'd kill myself.

WOW!!! Thank you Barry. Do you think he would host an annual get together for this forum?

Pat G.

reading the thread leads me to believe "he" is a "she". I think all of that is owned by a SINGLE WOMAN!

yep, ALL of those cars are "E" ticket rides - for those of you that remember when the rides were "rated" by ticket letters ;LOL

Did you see the size of the members on-line on that forum? I didnt know that many people liked Mustangs ;LOL ;LOL

You need to win? I wish I had 4 Corvette's ;LOL.

There were only 80 1968 L88s produced! The NCRS folks are going to jump all over this one.

I would be fairly confident that the owner (or past owner, if the ex-wife owns it all story is true) is known to some chapter of the NCRS already. Some of the C1s have NCRS stickers on them, the sort one applies to get the extra points for doing so - but could have been acquired in that state. Notice how all cars seem to have battery tenders hooked up - cool that.

I count two C2s - a red 64 and a green 67 with white stinger. See any others?

oh and yes, the 68 L88 sporting the window sticker (looks real enough, but these days anything is possible) certainly caught my eye, perhaps because it is that Maroon color I like so much? or perhaps something to do with RPO L88 . . .. I HAVE to believe that if a 68 L88 was mothballed from birth, it woud be well-known already to the Corvette Community, NCRS especially . . . .

That is so awesome it brought a tear to my eye. I would love to own that.

Quite true. The "real" L88s have been well researched. The repros are for sale at...can't say it here.

Yo Barry..What a find.....A climate controlled garage with it's own generator..and to see those cars in the conditions they are in...Yikes...Where do they live..Have about a tour of the place?

Andy

ok Andy I confess, that garage and the cars are really mine. I was just holding out on you because I didn't want everyone in CCND to get jealous.
;LOL ;LOL ;LOL

:BOW Hubba Hubba Hubba Hubba Hubba Hubba:drool:

I just showed my wife and she said I could build one like that. Now I just need to find $3M. $1.5M for the garage and $1.5M for the cars..... now what kind of stunt do I need to pull for $3m????....:bu
