Aloha,
Curious as to what vendor you used, what motor you have, and you're thoughts after the install and drive. I'm either going to install a stroker block,do some head work and use a LT4 hot cam with r/r's. Or get a new crate motor like a ZZ4 or something.
Mahalo for any input.

ZZ4 Crate engine

I had one put in my 91....awsome improvement in torque and power!

And I was using the stock intake and distributer ! I did also have to replace the water pump( wont fit) and did replace the starter and clutch assembly.

It was worth it for the reliability factor and for the improved block features.

Hey thanks for the reply.
Im thinking ZZ4 for because it's an all around good package. 355hp 405 lbs torque, forged steel cranck, hypereutectic pistons 4 bolt mains. The 383 version of this motor is sweet to, 425 hp 445torque with hradend crank forged rods. i might go with the 383.

Are you running your motor on the stock ECM tune? I will use the stock TPI at first, then will either go with the TPIS big mouth intake and runners,or a TPIS mini ram.

:thumb I agree.Had one in my 84' Fantastic all around engine.

Bear in mind those figures are with a carb.TPI will give more torque but less Hp.
If you went to a MR then a different cam would be better suited to that intake.
If you can get the HSR to fit ( hood scoop ) or buy the version modified to suit C4's then you would have the best features of both a big tube TPI setup ( bottom end torque ) with the top end performance of a MR

Stock tune will run with TPI on ZZ4 350 but retune recommended to get optimum performance
