i,m SCHOCKED

Can any or all of you help me in picking a good ,decent ,priced set of schocks.

I tried the Bilsteins. They were too stiff for everyday driving. I have had AC DELCO heavy duty in there for 3yrs now and it is smooth but handles well. I think I paid $27 each.

SCHOCKED

Thanks alot guys,i thought these schocks seemed a little over the top;just ordered AC DELCO hope everything goes SMOOTH.

Backs are easy. You will do them in under an hour each, including jacking the car up, taking the wheel off, etc.

I paid to have the fronts done with the suspension rebuild.

I did my rears in about 1-2 beers (30-45 min.) each. The fronts were tougher -- perhaps 3-4 beers each.

But I installed KYB shocks. I don't know about other brands, but these shocks are always under pressure -- in other words they always expand except when pressed in. So I had to use a bottle jack to hold them in place when I did the bottom bolts...

How Shocking !!

SHADY80 - Welcome to the :CAC !!

I did the AC Delco Reacteks last year just before the run to Bowling Green from Calif - pretty comfortable ride with decent handling. Think you'll be happy with them. :upthumbs

Now to find a way to get you some warm dry weather so you can do a bit of ... :Steer !!!
