My 2000 Coupe was in storage over the winter. When I took the cover off, on
St Paddys day, to clean it. I noticed some deep scratches on the front bumper
and hood. I should mention that I live in the city, and rent a driveway with 2
guys that use the garage for carpentry purposes. When I saw the scratches,
I went berserk, still very p&ssed off. My question is, can I have the scratches
repaired without having to paint the nose of my car? Does anyone know of
a reputable Covette body shop in the Boston Area?

Note: The scratches are only paint deep, no actual body damage. As far as I
can tell.

Thanking you in advance for any responses. Hope none of you ever have this
happen to you.

Oh wow, that is a shame. Was it scratched even with the cover on?

As for the scratches, I don't have any info there. You might start a thread in the Off-Road-Lounge or in the Regional Northeast section for reputable body shops in the Boston area.

Good luck.

A Corvette is actually not safe anywhere except your own garage...and sometimes not even there....sory about the mishap..hope you get it fixed soon:beer

Thanks Guy from Dunstable. I'm going to head over to Ron's in Fitchburg, and

see if he can help me out.

Again Thanks for your input.

I know how you feel. I've got some scratches in my hood from stray cats using my car cover as a bed and scratching post at night. So I've got to replace my cover and have the scratches fixed eventually. I've only had the car a month and a half too!!!

My poor neighbor has his Porsche 944 under a cover, or what used to be a cover. His is so bad, that when you see it at first, it looks like he's got the whole side of his car duct taped!!!
