This is an updated post regarding my flooding problem. 1988 model year.
I've done some more trouble shooting and have narrowed the problem down, all 8 injectors are receiving power to them when the engine is off and the key is in the on position. My understanding is with the engine not running and key in the on position there shouldn't be any power reading at the injectors. It appears I have some sort of electrical problem that is providing power to the injectors all the time hence causing the car to flood.
I've tried swapping an ECM from a 1987 into the car and the problem remained the same.
Any ideas where I should go look to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.
Additionally, can anyone point me to some tech data on trouble shooting the fuel injection and ECM systems.
Regards,
Fred
All help will be greatly appreciated.
