I just returned from a trip and discovered that my daughter doodled all over the back of the fawn colored passanger seat with a blue ball point pen. I have tried 409 but had no luck.

What can I use to remove the ink? HELP! :cry

I tried hairspray and it didn't work.

Anyone have other ideas?

A friend of mine had some black dye from a cell phone case on his seat in his 04. He tried everything. Finally, his wife told him to try tooth paste. That finally worked. Maybe it will work for ink too.

In this section on page 4 (6th posting from the bottom of the page) is the response for ink on tan leather back in Aug /03. ("Ink" by Minnesota Fats). Others suggested hair spray or isopropryl alcohol. Maybe you could e-mail one of them to see if and or what did work or ask Detailing Dude (a very knowledgable expert on these things). For sure someone has the answer from experience. If no luck phone a fine leather furniture store, I would imagine they sell something for removing ink. If you find something that works good please let us know too. Good luck

Checked with a leather furniture store and a quality leather clothing store and again the recommendation is "Try hairspray". DON'T RUB IT IN, just spray it on and leave it for 30-40 seconds they say before babbing it to dry it up. All say pen ink is the worst thing and probably won't come out 100%. You might be able to make it fade a bit with a cream or leather cleaner and conditioner. What ever you try do it on an inconspicuous spot first just in case it reacts poorly on the leather. Have you tried ie the Detailing Dude or one of the experts on the CAC yet? The members seem to have the answers for almost everything, they're incredible! Good luck.
