Interior dome light question

My relay seems to be working fine, when the doors close it takes about 30 seconds for the dome light and courtesy floor lights to go out. The headlight switch operates the headlights and dash/console lights correctly. However, when the headlight switch is turned all the way counter clockwise you can feel the "click" but the dome light does not illuminate... How can I test whether it is the headlight switch, ground wires, or delay timer? Any help is greatly appreciated

Since everything else is working correctly, the headlight switch is the only other thing in they system. Has to be. The switch comes apart (once you get it outta the dash) pretty easily, you might even be able to fix it. If you shop around on the net, you might even find it for a reasonable price. Ekclers has'em for about $60.00

I agree its gotta be the headlight switch

If you are inclined to get the light switch out, you will see a tab as you turn the knob which will touch the base of the switch and ground it. It is probably corroded and can be cleaned with a paper fingernail file or small piece of sandpaper. The brass tab is pushed down when you turn the knob.

WOW!!! I have the same problem and was about to post a question about it.
I got a headlight switch just in case off Ebay and now for sure will get it installed.

I did mine a year or so ago. if i remember correctly you should take out the duct and the ac vent, it'll make it alot easier to get to.
