Looking for information regarding paint information for a 1967 painted Mariana Blue w Bright blue lether interior. Does anybody know or where to get information on what interior part gets painted what color. All I can find is that they used four different colors but am unable to locate what part gets painted what color.

HELP!!!

Thanks,
Fergie

Welcome aboard fergie! I can't help you with your question, but hopefully someone will be along soon that can answer those questions for you. Thinking back when I had my 64, heck, I didn't realize that they used that many colors on the interior. Goes to show I won't be of much help.

You find that we are a very knowledgeable and friendly bunch. :w

Maybe someone here knows, but maybe you can get definitive information from local NCRS members.

Hi fergie and welcome to the :CAC

I sent a PM to member JohnZ - and CC'd you as well - with a link to this thread. He'll hopefully join in the discussion soon and he should be able to help with your inquiry.

Actuallly, there were only two blue interior color shades, but there were two different gloss levels of each. Between the component/area descriptions in the "Interior" section of the latest '67 Judging Guide (4th Edition, second printing, winter 2005) and the two interior color charts below, that should help you dope it out. 3* gloss is semi-flat, and 60* gloss is semi-gloss (unbuffed lacquer).

Edit: Sorry about the position of the charts - the new photo uploader does weird things (the old one worked fine).

interior paint

Thanks John!

From the list you sent me it says that on trim 415 which I believe is for leather interior, can you tell what part gets painted bright blue poly and what part ges painted Dr. bright blue poly?

Your help is greatly appriciated!!!

No, I can't - interior color/shade details aren't my specialty; you might post the question on the NCRS Tech Board, and one of the paint guys may have the answer.
