Anybody know if the molded door sill carpeting from an 88 will fit in an 87? Does it slip over an existing sill or is it installed in place of the plastic sill? The plastic sills on my 87 are scratched up. Ecklers sells both the plastic sills (99.99 ea.) and replacement sill carpet (69.99 pr.) I like the looks of the carpeting over the plastic and the price is sure better. Any ideas?

I bought the interior paint for plastics from Eastwood Company John, and now mine now look like new. Great stuff, but be sure to read the directions.
