IPC code b 0521

Does anybody know why my vette would throw this code? It is somthing with the tach, but the tach works fine

Although the signal is being recieved by the tach in the dash, it might have a intermittent signal going to the PCM which would throw the B0521 code. Check for loose connections at the PCM harness and at your fuse box to start with.
